John Mosbach joined Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (SAEM) and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) July 25, 2014 as Associate Athletics Director/Director of C.A.T.S. Academics. Mosbach is responsible for the organization, administration and supervision of a comprehensive academic support unit offering academic services to the 500 student-athletes at the University of Arizona. In addition to his role with academics, John also serves as Sport Administrator for Women’s Tennis. Mosbach is active nationally as a member of the N4A organization and has participated on numerous regional and national boards/committees.
Mosbach joined the UA from the University of Southern California, where he served in Student-Athlete Academic Services (SAAS) for eight years, most recently as the Assistant Athletic Director/Director of Athletic Academic Advising. John earned a Master’s of Science in Sport Management from The University of Tennessee in 2006 and graduated with honors from Wartburg College in 2004 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and Sports Management. He currently resides in Tucson with his wife Godfrey and enjoys the occasional trip back to the family farm in Whittemore, Iowa to catch up on uncle time with Molly, Jenna, Collin and Aiden.
