Student Wellness and Retention is working to improve access to mental health and wellness support services.  Being well serves as a foundation for academic performance and student success.

Life Management Counseling

Innovative embedded licensed mental health provider, serving students and consulting with faculty, staff, and student support units and colleges using an integrated behavioral health model.

Coping with COVID-19 Related Stress

Mental Health First Aid and Professional Trainings

Mental Health First Aid for Higher Education teaches individuals how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. An interactive 8-hour training focuses on the unique experiences and needs of college students and provides the skills needed to reach out and deliver initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.

  • Wellness and Performance

COVID-19 Updates: The March 20th training has been cancelled. We will continue to assess the viability of our April 10th and May 19th trainings and will update participants as soon as possible.

Nourishing Minds

Providing nutritious food and wellness information to students

  • Arizona Room Student Success Series - A biweekly series where students receive a free hot, wholesome meal and hear about campus resources
  • Wellness Fueling bags- free food and handouts staff provides to students who may be experiencing food insecurity
