MANAGING YOUR CALENDAR
Google Calender
Google has many tips and guides on how to manage a calendar. Some of the most helpful are included here. Remember there are often solutions for challenges you are having. Just ask for help, if you feel like things should be easier.
- You may need to manage different time zones (Arizona and wherever you might be).
- You can have a daily agenda sent your email! If you have created a weekly planner, and plugged it into your google calendar you can get a daily update. You can also import your D2L calendar into google.
- Add personal goals to your calendar!

- The Brightspace Pulse App (The makers of D2L) is available in the Google and Apple store.

According to Brightspace, "with a visual to show upcoming activities, learners can use Brightspace Pulse to plan their week – knowing when they really have to buckle down. They can track upcoming assignments, access course content online or offline, submit a discussion post, take a quiz, access grades, or view their course activity feed. "

Using your UA Net ID or alternative credentials, log in to your account at catcloud.arizona.edu to:
- View upcoming assignments and quizzes, classes, appointments, and events in a single calendar
- Manage upcoming assignments and quizzes
- Get notifications of key enrollment dates for classes
- Find and schedule appointments with advisors and other student support organizations on campus

Semester on a Page: Going through your class syllabi at the beginning of the semester and filling out a SOAP is a great way to stay organized and plan ahead of time.
