Each year all incoming main campus and Arizona Online students are able to complete the New Student Interest Form (NSIF).  More than 80% of incoming students provide us with information on their interest areas, resources they may need and their future plans through the NSIF. These data are useful for informing support strategies for new students transitioning to the University of Arizona. We are able to create personalized communications based on student needs and interests, and understand better the incoming student experience. 

From the NSIF we are able to: 

• Provide colleges with a dataset with their students' responses
• Provide colleges with a brief summary for their first-year students 
• Create personalized communications from SSRI on student resources and involvement opportunities 
• Collaborate with campus partners to tailor communications about specific programs and connect students
