STUDENT SUCCESS CONFERENCE 2025
February 12 & 13
We invite Arizona staff, faculty and students to learn more about supporting student success.
The conference focus in 2025 is to showcase holistic ways to support student success. Program sessions will focus on the wellness or well-being of students and have specific ties to at least one of the dimensions of wellness or student well-being.
The 2025 SSRI Student Success Conference is in collaboration with the Well-Being Collective.
Occupational Wellness
Occupational Wellness allows us to engage in our work and develop personal satisfaction from our accomplishments. Having optimal occupational health can help you achieve self-worth, happiness, and satisfaction.
Intellectual Wellness
Intellectual Wellness challenges us through engagement of mentally stimulating and creative activities. Optimal intellectual wellness inspires us to explore and become more mindful. It also motivates us to try new things and become a well-rounded individual and have a more balanced life.
Financial Wellness
Financial Wellness involves learning how to successfully manage your finances. Money plays a critical role in our lives and financial stress has found to be a regular source of stress, fear, and anxiety. Finances have a considerable impact on physical and emotional well-being.
Environmental Wellness
Environmental Wellness is the act of living in a way that is respectful to our surrounding and environment. Maintaining good health by occupying pleasant, stimulating environments that support well-being. This dimension encourages us to take action to protect nature and our personal environment.
Emotional Wellness
Emotional Wellness includes trust, self-esteem, self-acceptance, self-confidence and self-control, and it allows us to experience relaxation, reduction of stress, and overall self-care. It is important to be attentive to your own feelings, whether they are positive or negative, and how to handle those emotions. Emotional wellness encourages us to learn and grow from our experiences and allows us to accept how we are feeling.
Physical Wellness
Physical Wellness is taking proper care of our bodies through a well-balanced diet, having a strong and positive mentality, and participating in regular exercise. Engaging in physical wellness can result in feelings of alertness, energy, happiness, and confidence. Acknowledging the importance of physical activity, nutrition, and sleep.
Spiritual Wellness
Spiritual Wellness encourages us to discover a sense of purpose and meaning in life. Spiritual wellness also helps us to appreciate life and all of our experiences. It is important for us to find meaning in our lives and to develop a human mind-body connection with yourself and the outside world.
Social Wellness
Social Wellness includes developing a sense of connection, belonging, and support with others. This dimension focuses on building healthy, supportive, and valuable relationships and creating a genuine connection with those around you. Our emotional resilience depends on the strength of our social wellness.
